Weather: gray in the AM, clearing, but a little chilly
Wrote to Catherine, yes for membership on the Ad Hoc Committee on Reopening the College in the Face of Covid - will I regret this?????
Off to Home Depot in the AM to pick up Liquid Fence to keep the deer off our Hosta, landscaping cloth, and picture hangers.
Stopped at Waynzk Farm plant stand to pick up flowers, but instead bought herbs
- Zoom w. our Denver Girls 10:30 AM
- Zoom CHEM dept meeting 12-2 (also ahead of time to do spreadsheet for Teaching Assistants for next year - over 70 signed up, need about 30 - good choices for CHEM 151 - but----are we teaching labs in the Fall?????)
A tiny bit of garden work.... make and then spray coleus with Liquid Fence
Walk with Rich at 3:30 PM to visit baby colt, stopped in to Ancient Ponies Farm, communal place with duck and chicken eggs and picked up a workshop brochure. Mushroom and bee farming, chinese herbs - super interesting.
DINNER: Made ravioli with butternut squash, caramelized onion, and Peccorino Romano with Chicken Andouille sausage
